The Story
This primary bathroom was ready for more than an aesthetic update. The goal was to create a peaceful, luxurious retreat while thoughtfully incorporating accessibility into the design, without allowing it to define how the finished space looked or felt.
A spacious zero-entry walk-in shower provides easy access while a freestanding soaking tub creates a place to unwind. Heated floors, a heated bidet toilet, layered lighting, and carefully considered fixtures bring comfort and luxury to the everyday experience. The result is a bathroom that feels serene and elevated while quietly supporting the homeowners' needs for years to come.
Sparrow's Approach
We redesigned the layout around comfort, accessibility, and ease of use, then layered in details that would make the room feel special. The zero-entry shower features multiple shower heads, including a handheld and rain head, along with a generous built-in niche that keeps everyday products within easy reach.
Material selections were equally intentional. Slip-resistant tile captures the elegant look of marble without the slick surface of natural stone, while heated floors add warmth underfoot. At the vanity, dimmable toe-kick lighting provides a soft glow and additional nighttime visibility, sconces create flattering task lighting, and a tiled backsplash extending well above the mirrors turns a functional area into a beautiful focal point.
Every element was considered through the lens of how the homeowners would actually experience the room, creating a primary bathroom that is beautiful, restorative, functional, and thoughtfully designed for long-term living.
